Inspection and load testing

  • Lifting tackle inspection/load testing 
  • Lifting equipment inspection/load testing
  • Creating registries in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act
  • All of your regular lifting equipment are inspected and load-tested on-site by us.
  • A certificate of conformity is provided for all objects that pass the inspections.
  • All inspections are carried out in line with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (DMR 18) and a number of EN/SABS/SANS standards.
  • We provide you with a high-quality inspection report that includes all of our findings and recommendations to aid you in correcting the issues we’ve identified; our expert service will also help you avoid this happening again in the future.
  • We may also conduct an audit of your current internal lifting equipment inspection processes and provide you with a written audit report that includes our findings and suggestions.
  • After the inspections, we remove scrapped materials (on request) to eliminate any elements that might cause an accident.
  • We can help you by making your custom-made lifting gear safe, in compliance with the Department of Labor’s criteria.
  • We can help you by drafting a thorough standard procurement policy to help you avoid bringing in risky and untested lifting equipment owing to low pricing.
  • When executing crane rope inspections, we will conduct rope investigations and destructive breaking force tests; test certifications with load deformation graphs will be provided upon request.
